  1. I’m so sorry to hear that Malia’s life here was so short, but I will be praying for you both, that you would feel God’s presence and comfort as you grieve, and as you continue to move forward in hope and tender remembrance. I found the book Grieving the Child You Never Knew to be helpful in my two miscarriages. Stepping stones is also a great ministry of Bethany Christian Services, for families experiencing infertility or the loss of a baby, if you’re interested. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers,

  2. Hope and Chris, I heard about your loss and just read all your posts. God has certainly used Malia, as He promised, to take you to new depths and heights in learning to depend on Him alone. I’m weeping for you at this “severe mercy,” and at the same time gasping at the wonder of His great heart speaking through your words. Thank you for choosing to bare your hearts in a way that gives courage to others and glory to Him…

  3. Chris and Hope….We are so sorry for the loss of your daughter…..we will keep you in our prayers in the coming difficult days, weeks and months as you are missing little Malia, and all the dreams you had for her….may God’s mercies be new every morning, and His comfort be felt as you walk this journey of grief that came so uninvited. Her tiny feet have clearly left big footprints in many hearts already….
    Lovingly, Bob and Faith Organ
